Job Details

The Senior HRBP role will partner senior leaders across the North as they grow and transform to a high performance culture and employer of choice. The role will be a blend of site travel and home working, all Northern sites are commutable without an overnight stay from Yorkshire

Client Details

The business are a logistics business with a difference, operating in a high growth and specialist area of the market. They have been through significant change and as such are rebuilding the HR function, structure and capability to suit the growing needs of the UK business. With sites in the NW, NE and Yorkshire and a HO function in Northampton, the role will offer variety and travel as well as balance with home working.


The Senior HRBP role will partner the Northern leadership team will all areas of:

  • The full Employee life cycle
  • Leadership capability and performance development
  • Culture, internal communication and engagement
  • Employee relations, TUPE and change management
  • Organisational development, design and talent
  • Owning the People plan for the region and delivering both operational and strategic inventions as required by the business


The Senior HRBP will have:

  • Significant knowledge of UK employment law.
  • CIPD Level 7 Qualified or demonstrable equivalent experience
  • Significant experience of leading organisational transformational and HR transformation projects
  • Experience of leading People related portfolios for example Equality and Diversity, Reward, Engagement
  • Experience of Business Partnering in a large global / UK wide business
  • Demonstrable experience of achieving performance improvement through people plans.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to challenge and coach decision makers
  • Experience of leading organisational change programmes including restructures, TUPE, relocation and changes to Terms and Conditions of Employment
  • Experience of building working relationships with Works Councils or Trade Union negotiations

Job Offer

The role can be based anywhere in the North but hubs in Rotherham and Liverpool would suggest M62/M1 access would be ideal

The role is paying £60-65K plus car allowance and benefits
