Job Details

As the People & Culture Business Partner for the UK you are responsible for delivery of operational HR provision to the UK team. You will be passionate about developing the HR offering to the business in partnership with the centres of excellence.

Business Partnership

· Collaborate with your stakeholders to support the design and delivery of the people agenda, including engagement, onboarding, talent management and development

· Provide general HR advice to employees and managers with support from the Senior Business Partner and Head of P&C on complex matters.

· Continuously develop the HR toolkit and HR processes to ensure managers have increasing levels of service access, quality, and efficiency

· Develop strong relationships with people and business leaders to enable engagement and the successful delivery of People and Culture initiatives

· Coach and mentor people leaders to develop leadership skills and knowledge to support them to be more effective leaders

· Act as a trusted counsel to employees and leaders using your knowledge, experience and influence to strive for the best outcome for all concerned.

· Role model the values and behaviours to support a high-performance culture

· Lead the People and Culture Shared Service function, response times, escalation. and ensure timely management of the Workday process flow.

· Effectively manage ER cases including but not limited to; investigations, disciplinaries, performance management, absence, and grievance

· Provide support for the integration of new business and business changes,

People and Culture Metrics and Data Quality

· Maintain existing, and develop new, auditing and data management processes to ensure data held is accurate at all times and compliance with GDPR and CQC is maintained

People and Culture initiatives and Projects

· Support the Head of P&C Europe to design and deliver new UK People and Culture initiatives and projects, working to timescales and budget.

· Undertake the roll out, implementation and embedding of new initiatives

· Work with centres of excellence to ensure group wide initiatives and projects are well designed taking into account the requirements of the UK business.


Significant experience of managing/coaching on HR matters to a range of stakeholders

· Ability to present information in a range of formats to different audiences utilising Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc

· Exposure to a range of HR subjects with in-depth knowledge in 2 or 3, be that Reward and Recognition, Engagement, Recruitment and On-boarding, Employee Relations, Organisational Change, Talent and Culture, HR systems, TUPE and Acquisitions.

· Ability to analyse and draw conclusions from a range of data sources

· Strong customer service orientation combined with authentic warm and professional working style

· Ability to manage multiple strands of work concurrently and effectively

· Experience of working in a fast paced, multi-site environment

· Experience of working in healthcare an advantage.

· Experience of managing a team
