HR Business Partner


Oakleaf Partnership are recruiting on behalf of our Client for a HR Business Partner on a Full Time Permanent basis. Our Client are a well known, leading Engineering and Infrastructure services company and the role is based out of their Birmingham Office. This role is remote working position however travel will be required to various offices at least once or twice per month, you will be expected to work with teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build organisation and people capability, shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops a people plan reflecting talent development and resourcing, engagement and organisational development interventions required to deliver business unit and corporate objectives
  • Monitors key performance metrics, identify trends, provided insight based on data and takes actions to improve performance
  • Supports proactive resource planning ensuring solutions are identified in relation to skills gaps, talent attraction, resource mix and talent pipeline strategy
  • Embeds talent management process and principles into their business area
  • Overseas HR service delivery and works with the wider HR team to develop and improve service and efficiency
  • Coaches line managers to improve people management and improve performance of their team, questions and challenges others to get to the root of people and business issues.
  • Designs, develops and delivers change programmes required to meet and exceed customer expectations (mobilisation, organisational restructuring etc.). Anticipates the need for change and proactively influences.
  • HR contribution to bidding activity.
  • Embeds the inclusion agenda at Business Unit level.
  • Monitors and manages employee relations and supports the conclusion of complex and high-risk cases
  • Manages key union relationships at business unit level aligned to the wider Amey strategy

  • Experience & Skills Required:

  • CIPD Qualified
  • Takes the initiative
  • Proactive anss self motivated individual
  • Coaching and Mentoring skills
  • Adaptable
  • Delivered Change and transformation projects with successful outcomes
  • Experience working in a Professional Services or Financial Services background would be ideal for this role
  • Experience working as a HR Business Partner is essential
