Football Radar is an exciting company which is disrupting the football analytics industry. For the past twelve years we have successfully devised football analytical frameworks and statistical models, and as a result we have become a market leader in providing estimates for the betting industry. 

Football Radar has grown to a business of 250 people across three locations, with our headquarters in London and branches in Liverpool and Plovdiv, Bulgaria. 

 

About the role

This role is an exciting opportunity to join the People Operations team at Football Radar, the role is a perfect fit for a HR generalist who is passionate about football and wants to work in the football industry. We’re looking for someone who is looking to make a true impact in supporting our employees and leaders, as well as creating an inspiring environment for our colleagues to grow and apply their experience.

 

As People Operations Manager you will lead the delivery of Recruitment, Retention and reward plans across our London, Liverpool and Plovdiv offices. You will work to support managers across the business to help ensure they are meeting their respective goals. This also includes providing oversight of our operations in Liverpool and Plovdiv. 

 

As People Operations Manager you will be expected to be a cultural champion for the business role modelling the company’s behaviours and promoting professional engagement. 

 

The role is a hybrid working role with requirements to work from a London office.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial, accurate, effective and timely advice to managers and employees Ensure accurate records of employment and personnel data are maintained Developing recruitment campaigns and managing hiring processes from start to finish Assisting managers with case work, performance management and disciplinary actions A variety of exciting new projects Manage GDPR processes across UK employees, training and supporting the leadership team to meet all regulatory requirements Onboarding and offboarding support Manage our HRIS and applicant tracking systems Provide references for employees and alumni

 

 Profile

 We are looking for a candidate who can help Football Radar reach our business goals as we strive to be the number one experts on football. The successful candidate will have a minimum of CIPD level 5 or equivalent and experience as an HR professional with a strong generalist background. Specifically you will have:

 

  • 3-5 years practical HR generalist experience You are CIPD qualified, or qualified by experience in a HR / People Operations role Comfortable working across MS Office suite and experience using Google Workspace is a plus A pragmatic approach and understanding of how HR policies and practices impact the business You're keen to share your knowledge and experience within and beyond the team Experience producing data driven HR insight & reporting Passion and understanding of football CIPD level 5
