HR Administrator

A fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their HR Career. You will assist in providing a customer-focused, comprehensive and efficient HR administration service to colleagues within the department and to staff and managers. You will be involved in a broad range of transitional HR activities; ensuring working practices comply with statutory requirements and incorporate best practice.

Your Responsibilities

  • Respond to a range of HR requests and provide information to regularly posed questions (such as terms and conditions, policies and processes). or escalating to the HR Co-ordinator/HR Service Centre Manager as and when required;
  • General administration duties including, scanning of paperwork to online systems/files
  • Process contractual change requests for employees and issue new contracts, where applicable.
  • Process termination forms (including retirement), complete associated actions and documentation.
  • Assist with producing reports as required to support the HR Service Centre with case work
  • Assist with regular data cleansing to ensure records are accurate and up to date on the HR information system (Resource Link)
  • Update and maintain personal files ensuring all records are up to date.
  • Support the team on projects to meet strategic and operational goals.


Skills Required

  • This role requires someone who can undertake very repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work repetitively and efficiently
  • Demonstrate good communication ability and possess strong customer service skills.
  • You are able and willing to follow working procedures,
  • Use own initiative and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and be aware of the need for confidentiality.
  • Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
