About the role

At DS Smith we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to initially join us on a 6 month fixed term contract to deliver end-to-end recruitment for a number of site based roles in Cambridgeshire and Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join DS Smith as our recruitment offering continues to evolve

In this role you will:

  • Develop relationships with line managers to understand hiring requirements
  • Use a variety of direct sourcing methodologies to provide talent pipelines and increase the DS Smith employer within the locality of our sites.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of operatives within sites
  • Have the opportunity to be a member of the project team to influence the future recruitment strategy and process for recruitment of site operatives
  • Work with central DS Smith teams to provide a great line manager and candidate experience

About you

Minimum requirements

  • Experienced talent acquisition professional with experience of direct sourcing candidates in manufacturing particularly operatives and shopfloor colleagues.
  • Business Partnering skills with excellent stakeholder management experience up to director level
  • Project management skills and ability to manage third party suppliers.
  • Be able to travel to Ely, Cambridgeshire 2 days each week

Preferred requirements

  • Industry knowledge and experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience of Workday ATS
