I have a great opportunity for an HR Manager who is passionate about making a difference. Working for a reputable and established SME within Financial Services you will be working with the Senior Leadership Team to provide support on all HR related activities. You will be acting as a trusted advisor and will get involved in the entire employee life cycle including implementing and updating policies, involvement in HR projects and initiatives, talent management, upskilling employees and culture harmonisation across any M&A activity. In this role, you will be able to utilise your experience and add true value to the business.

Salary: £70000 to £80000

12 month FTC with the opportunity for permanent afterwards

Hybrid working

Accountabilities include:

  • Responsible for the full employee lifecycle
  • Implementing HR policies and procedures ensuring overall business objectives are met
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and supporting, coaching, advising and influencing business leaders to increase engagement and performance
  • Oversight of all ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, sickness, absence, restructuring/redundancies etc
  • Driving the talent and succession agenda
  • Overseeing the annual performance and reward process
  • Supporting with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Preparing MI reports, providing analysis and insights as required

Skills & Experience

  • To apply you must have strong HR Generalist experience within Financial Services and must be CIPD qualified.
  • Ideally you will have worked for an SME
  • Demonstrate commerciality and a strong knowledge of current UK employment law
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of HR business partnering, strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills and strong decision making skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to influence different business areas and management levels
  • Demonstrate the use of your analytical skills to solve problems and identify solutions
  • A motivated self-starter with the ability to adapt to different business needs
