Oakleaf are supporting this fantastic Law firm to find a Senior Talent Development Advisor to join thier wonderful team.
The team is responsible for developing and implementing the legal and interpersonal skills training curricula, talent development, international associate academies, associate development centres, mentoring and team events. The team provides talent development to all partners, legal and business services staff in the UK - covering technical and commercial skills training. . They have recently implemented a new Learning Management System that will help further deliver the firm's objectives through supporting continuous learning!
This exciting opportunity will support across various practice areas (NQs and Senior Associates) and business services functions. Supporting the development and provision of a comprehensive learning and development offering, in line with business need - oversee day to day legal and skills training, other development initiatives and project work.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing legal and skills training courses, to include:
* Managing and planning training courses, liaising with internal staff, SME's and stakeholders
* Planning and arranging of external UK and International development events, liaising with the Talent Development Manager and other staff
In addition to establishing Business Services training needs through liaison with a targeted subset of Heads of Department and Managers Training delivery of induction sessions, in addition to design and delivery of skills training and teambuilding events as required Involvement and support of annual projects which may include:
* International Associate Academy - UK co-ordination working with the Head of Talent Development
* Involvement in coordination of International Secondment Programme
* Involvement with the Senior Associate Development Centre and various Partner programmes
* Managing the diversity reverse mentoring programme and firmwide coaching and mentoring programme
* Guiding staff on personal development planning
* Monitoring budgets/monthly expenditure reporting and training evaluation & reporting
* Involvement in ad hoc project work as required
Technical requirements:
* Proven experience in a specialist learning & development role, ideally in a professional services environment
* Training needs analysis experience
* Course design and evaluation experience
* Good presentation and delivery skills
* Desirable: Digital learning/e-learning experience
* Desirable: Virtual delivery experience
* Desirable: Knowledge and use of an LMS
