The standalone HR Manager will own, drive and embed the HR Strategy onsite. Reporting to the Managing Director, and sitting on the Senior Management Team, you will be the go-to person for all things HR across the business ensuring managers have the skills and knowledge to manage their teams on a day-to-day basis. Key focus areas will be recruitment and retention, employee engagement, and employee relations, all driven with a commercially-minded approach.

Reporting into the MD, this standalone generalist HR Manager will be an operational and strategically aligned HR professional partnering with key stakeholders. Working closely with the operational leadership team, this role will ensure a value-add and commercially astute HR service to the business.
You will be a natural communicator who will look to engage, develop and maintain key relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
As the HR Manager, my customer seeks someone with an astute toolkit (including, but not limited to);
- Employee relations
- Leadership support and development
- Talent and performance management
- Culture & engagement
- The development and maintenance of HR Policies and Processes
- H&S management (provided by an outsourced provider)
- Partnering with an external Payroll provider to oversee smooth running of payroll
This will cover a manufacturing facility and support functions.
This role is based in Blackburn, 5 days a week on site.
To be considered for this HR Manager appointment you will have proven experience as an HR Manager / Senior HR Advisor, within Manufacturing or a similar sector. Experience in recruitment, leadership coaching, delivering training and ER are essential.

A salary of up to £45,000 plus benefits
