Working as part of a cohesive and high energy L&D team, this is a exciting role that has responsibility for a variety of L&D/talent management activities and for making a key contribution to the delivery of an impactful and highly regarded L&D curriculum

Key responsibilities

*To ensure programmes have defined learning objectives, that the style and structure of sessions and the flow of learning appropriately meets these, and up to date and effective techniques and styles of delivery are employed
*To design, deliver and facilitate training and workshops on a bespoke/ad-hoc basis
*To build and manage relationships across the firm with key stakeholders and line colleagues to ensure that needs are understood and to cover key information on learning, programmes and new developments. This is to build understanding of how learning supports development in a broader context and to ensure the training delivers high quality skills development
*To add to, refresh and update learning as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and to reflect changing priorities and in response to feedback
*To programme manage the delivery of training interventions and to ensure effective organisation, delivery and follow up
*To identify and select training providers who have expertise that meet the requirement. To manage our ongoing relationships with training providers to ensure the provision of the highest quality of training
*To work with internal experts/partner faculty to develop content and/or run training
*To deliver value for money on all training - and to set and manage the budget to achieve this

Key Requirements

*Relevant L&D, training and talent management experience ideally within the professional services sector
*A track record managing all aspects of the training cycle: training needs analysis, design, facilitation, delivery, programme management and evaluation
*Strong organisational and planning/project management skills, and a great attention to detail
*Excellent relationship building/interpersonal skills
*Good (verbal and written) communicator, ability to communicate and influence effectively and credibly across all levels
*Proactive and a can-do in approach
