Reward Consultant
FTC 9-12 months
Wiltshire / Fully Remote - can be over 4 or 5 days per week

Salary to £50,000 + great benefits or up to £325/Day (inside IR35)

Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with a highly respected public service employer based in Wiltshire, to recruit an experienced HR / Reward Consultant on an interim basis.

The context of the role is an exciting and challenging one. The business understands that employee performance needs to be appropriately recognised and rewarded. Their current structure does not adequately support this however, they have the autonomy to change it.

Your role will be to;

  • Review existing salary scales and pay bandings.
  • Develop and implement a new / revised pay scale structure where needed.
  • Develop a company-wide recognition scheme which reflects values.
  • Conduct the gender pay audit.
  • Set up the tools and processes for the HR Business Partners to ensure an effective annual salary review and bonus allocation.
  • Ensure salary review principles and processes are prepared in advance, and clear communication tools are ready for HR to use with leaders, to ensure a consistent and efficient review process across the organisation.
  • Ensure simple but effective templates/spreadsheets are set up to capture review recommendations and facilitate roll up and consistent cross-company calibration.
  • Support the scoping of long-term reward resource and capability requirements.

We need a Reward SME, ideally someone with experience working in the public sector and / or a good understanding of public sector salary scales.

It goes without saying, a proven track record in Reward projects is key: pay modelling, job evaluation, managing annual salary review processes, developing and implementing Reward policies etc, is essential.

You must also be able to understand company strategy, have a strong commercial acumen and be able to interpret business plans in order to implement appropriate reward initiatives.

You will have a high level of professionalism and passion, as well as the ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

If you are looking for a challenging role in a change orientated, public sector environment and possess the above competencies, please contact us via the application link enclosed.

Henlee Resourcing is a specialist full service human resources recruitment consultancy operating across the South West, M3 / M4 / M5 corridors.

What Make Us Different

We have worked hard to integrate our business into the community we serve, because we believe that to deliver service excellence to our clients and candidates, we must have a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing HR professionals today. Through the CIPD events we support, host and sponsor, we have developed a strong network, and through our commitment to achieving a genuine match between candidate and role, we have cultivated the trust that wins us recommendations to fill vacancies and find new roles. We are genuinely invested in our candidate’s success, not only because our business depends on it, but because we recognise the difference we can make to someone’s life if we help them secure a new start, a big promotion, or the work-life balance that they’ve been dreaming of.
