Employee Relations Specialist
Location: Chester, with an easy commute from Liverpool, Greater Manchester and Cheshire
Salary: £32,000-£36,000 plus generous holidays and pension
This outstanding education institution, located in North West has recently gone through an exciting transformation of the HR department.
As such this has presented the opportunity for an Employee Relations Specialist to join the growing HR team and support in delivering a high performing and proactive business focussed HR Service.
As ER Specialist you will take the lead on HR policy as well as managing a wide range of complex employee relations issues, coordinating the wider ER across the college, identifying any trends and issues and reporting back to the HR Director.
An expert in employee relations you will be expected to work collaboratively with managers and the HR team on case management of individual, complex, high risk and sensitive employee relations issues in addition to working closely with Trade Unions and attend Union meetings.
Skills & Experience Required;
Previous experience of working in a HR generalist role
Experience of leading stakeholder working groups including Trade Unions
Detailed knowledge and experience of HR legal parameters and best practice
Experience of HR system administration and development
CIPD Qualified to a minimum of Level 5 & MCIPD
