Job Details
Role Title: Senior HR Advisor
Location: Chester, with easy commute from Liverpool, Cheshire and Manchester
Salary: £31,000 plus generous holidays and pension
This outstanding education institution, located in North West, has recently gone through an exciting transformation of the HR department.
As such this has presented the opportunity for a Lead HR Advisor to join the wider HR team and support a designated area of the college along with a small team of HR Advisors to which you will act as first line of support.
For this role of Senior HR Advisor we looking to attract candidates who are equipped with the skills to work in an extremely varied, fast paced role.
You will provide professional advice on day to day queries on HR matters from managers in addition to advising and guiding on all recruitment matters including writing new job descriptions, shortlisting, providing panel support at interviews and transactional HR activities.
This Lead HR Advisor position will require you to work proactively as part of a wider team, and be flexible and adaptable when required
As a HR Advisor it will be your responsibility to contribute to and support the development and implementation of policies, processes and projects that support the college's wider vision and promote a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion.
Skills & Experience required;
*Experience of working within an educational environment is essential for this role
*Experience of providing advice and guidance to managers on HR related matters
*Experience of processing transactional HR procedures
*Experience is supporting with Recruitment activities
*Strong Excel skills and be comfortable working with data
*CIPD professional qualification to Level 5
