I am exclusively partnering with a wealth advisory business backed through a JV by one of the largest global PE firms. This business has gone through a huge transformational agenda and will continue to do so with strategic drivers to enhance the customer experience, expand its customer segmentation, new product offerings to the market with ambition to double its UK footprint through M&A activity, FUM (£8bn to-date) and FTE (225 to-date) within the next 24 months. Exciting times afoot!

The role itself is an end-to-end HR Generalist role but very much operating within that tactical and strategic space where you will work collaboratively across the business to ensure all annual employee lifecycle objectives are met along with the strategic people plan initiatives. You will report into the HRD and sit on EXCO -1 Leadership Team with responsibility for 1 direct report, HR Assistant. Whilst responsible for BAU and in conjunction with the HRD you will set the People scene you will also be involved in several projects including cultural embedment both post transformational change and aligned to M&A activity, D&I and so on. Due to growth plans the role will be heavily weighted towards M&A for the medium term, hence having a direct report to support.

To be considered for this role you will be a seasoned HR professional from a SME financial service regulated environment and ideally wealth management with the ability to build relationships quickly across all levels of the business to influence change and desired outcomes. You must have a commercial mindset to solve for rather than be led by process. With the ambitious growth plan, you must have in-depth M&A and end to end TUPE expertise along with strong ER skills. As a regulated business you must also have experience in managing SMCR as this will fall under your remit along with other HR governance requirements.
