Job Details

Working as part of the centralised HR Service team in Leeds you will lead a newly recruited team of HR Employee relations specialist who will deliver a consistently high quality advisory service for all employees at all levels across the UK wide business.

  • The day to day management and support of ER specialist
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Managing operational projects
  • Ensuring the business experience a positive and highly supportive service from your team
  • Quality checking the service and advice your team provide
  • Building strong relationships and working collaboratively with business leaders and stakeholders
  • Using data and MI to analyse trends to identify and advise on both tactical and strategic decision making


  • Proven ER experience
  • People management experience, ideally managing a team of 6 + people
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent is desirable, however appropriate practical experience will be considered
  • An excellent knowledge of current employment legislation UK and Northern Ireland and of applying this in practice whilst adhering to company policy
  • Ability to coach, mentor and where required challenge and influence line managers and other stakeholders, leading the team to resolve ER cases whilst providing excellent customer service

Job Offer

  • Salary between £45,000 and £60,000 DOE
  • Car or car allowance
