HR Consultant - £350 per day - South Yorkshire and travel to other sites - REMOTE working
Interim HR Consultant - Home based with periodic work in the South Yorkshire Office and other sites - circa upto £350/day

Your new role
You will join a specific area of the business who has been through several TUPEs to assist in the review of the area's people plan, staffing requirements, competencies and possible reallocation.
The role is based at Doncaster, but with fully flexible hybrid working (home working and occasional visit to the Doncaster site. There will be some UK site travel occasionally)
This is an exciting interim role where you will be supporting a General Manager and the HR Business Partner allocated to the business area to provide an impartial review project. You will collaborate with internal departments to agree clear people strategies, have input into design and execution of consultations, develop consultation plan and lead its execution - to move towards a more technically competent and proficient, right-sized team.
This will include :
Reviewing roles (including JD's) against functional delivery requirements, identifying gaps and producing recommendations for change.
Working with managers and leaders to identify tactical people issues and support with delivering solutions.
Interpret current TUPE frameworks, policies and procedures to smoothly and successfully implement change, mitigating any negative impacts to colleagues.
Identify and Lead talent succession planning activities for staff, develop an assessment program if required and identify up skilling opportunities where practical / possible.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will ideally possess a solid background in a Senior HR Generalist or Consultancy role.
Previous experience of leading complex HR change projects including Trade Union consultation
Will have experience in an industry such as engineering/logistics/manufacturing (mix of blue and white collar workforce) and Trade Union Environments.
HR/Project work.
Excellent communication and negotiating skills CIPD Level 5 as a minimum (or suitably equivalent experience level)

Weekly pay - via Hays Payroll (timesheet submission)
Can be in or outside IR35 Flexible working - flexibility in hours and location/hybrid/remote working. NB Although remote / home/ hybrid working - ideally you will live within 1-2 hours travel of South Yorkshire
