Ashley Kate are pleased to be to be supporting a well-established law firm, as they look to recruit a HR Consultant on a part time basis.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking for the next step in their career .

Salary for this role will be circa £40k FTE and comes with a hybrid working pattern.

Job purpose: To provide professional HR knowledge and advisory services to the LLP's SME businesses in a timely, efficient and effective manner to meet client requirements and maximise future business opportunities with attendance at clients' sites/places of business as required.

About the role
·Work with clients to understand the business and HR issues, agree action/implementation plans, provide on site/meeting support as required.
·Provide support with administration, development of line managers and wider policy work.
Areas to include:
·Recruitment including interviews.
·Disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings.
·Internal appeals.
·Redundancy processes, including administration and attendance at consultations.
·Appraisal process review and development.
·TUPE
·Pay review processes.
·Flexible working requests.
·Attendance management.
·Policy review and redesign.
·HR Information Systems implementation.
·Training for line management.
·Coaching and mentoring (use of personality profiling from Clarity 4D where appropriate).
·Employee engagement initiatives.
·Change management processes.
·Communications support.

HR Consultant - About you

·CIPD qualified preferred
·Proven HR Manager level experience
·Experience of advising on varied and sometimes complex, disciplinary/grievance matters and reorganisations on a regular basis.
·Able to provide pragmatic HR advice to a variety of clients; taking into account their particular business and culture, their goals and objectives and HR legislation.
·Highly competent in preparing and writing HR documentation, including policies, procedures, contracts of employment and letters.
·Willing to travel to various sites, when needed.
