A global financial services company, based in the City, has an urgent need for a Benefits Advisor to join them on a permanent basis
Role Benefits Advisor
£55.000 - £60.000 + 18% bonus
City of London, 3 days a week on site
Support the Payroll & Benefits Manager in delivering employee benefits to our UK and the European population, ensuring effective day to day delivery of all benefits in each location, including pensions. You will work autonomously to provide expert training and advice to employees on their benefits packages and work with vendors to ensure benefits are reviewed and renewed on a regular and timely basis
Some duties
Co-ordinate all benefits related paperwork including invoice management and administration relating to legacy benefit schemes resulting from acquisitions. Manage joiners and leavers administration (e.g. childcare vouchers, cycle to work, gym membership, GAYE, private medical insurance, risk benefits).
Accurately calculate benefit in kind cash equivalent values and voluntary deductions for payroll processing
Skills and Experience;
Essential;
An experienced benefits advisor who has had exposure to a range of aspects of benefits and pension management.
Strong technical knowledge in relation to benefits (e.g. tax implications and HMRC rules).
Good up to date knowledge of pensions including defined contribution and auto enrolment schemes.
Advanced excel skills i.e. VLOOKUP-up function, pivot tables.
Confident in dealing with internal and external stakeholders, including benefits providers and brokers
