A new opportunity has arisen at this international, diverse SME Bank for an HRBP on a 12 month FTC, with the potential for a permanent opportunity afterwards. Joining a very friendly and collaborative team you will act as a trusted advisor to the business and get involved across the whole employee spectrum as well as involvement in HR projects. You will also have responsibility for developing and maintaining their HR policies and procedures. This is a wonderful opportunity to join this friendly and established bank who are going through exciting change and where you can play a key part in this!

  • 12 month FTC with the potential of a permanent opportunity afterwards
  • Hybrid working - between 2-3 days in the office
  • Paying £70000 - £75000, plus benefits and bonus


  • Partnering closely with the business to deliver a proactive HRBP service, ensuring the business meets its objectives
  • Being a trusted advisor and providing advice on a range of HR issues such as reward, ER, talent acquisition, development, performance, change, culture, engagement and diversity
  • Partnering with and influencing your key stakeholders to find and implement commercial solutions to people related issues
  • Supporting the CPO on specific projects and initiatives
  • Establishing and maintaining a full suite of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are fit for purpose
  • Working in partnership with the other HRBP's to ensure there is an effective HR Advisory support to employees across the bank

Skills and Experience

  • You must have exgtensive HRBP experience within Banking, Financial Services or Insurance
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills and strong decision making skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to influence different business areas and management levels
  • Demonstrate commerciality and a strong knowledge of current UK employment law
  • Demonstrate the use of your analytical skills to solve problems and identify solutions
  • A motivated self-starter with the ability to adapt to different business needs
  • Experience of writing management reports and presentations at senior level
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse and present data.
