Job Details


The HR Administrator will provide efficient HR administrative support within the HR team enabling the HR department to cope with peak workloads throughout the year. The HR administrator will handle all written and verbal employee queries with confidentiality and be the primary contact for all business stakeholders. The HR administrator will also work closely with the HR Advisor to ensure a high-quality HR service is delivered to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR and payroll queries
  • Act as the system administrator for Success Factors and Kronos systems, including managing all user access, ensuring accuracy and data protection compliance
  • Input HR data onto the system, including starters and leavers, contractual amendments, change of details, and annual leave
  • Create reports from the HR database for the purpose of auditing and monitoring employee data and training
  • Carry out all recruitment administration such as drafting and placing adverts, logging application forms and arranging interviews
  • Provide administration for new employees, including preparing contracts, offer letters, and new starter packs
  • Conduct induction meetings with new starters
  • Manage the reporting of all employee sickness and absence information
  • Carry out general administration tasks for the HR department, including sorting post, drafting standard HR documents and managing the HR inbox
  • Ensure employee files are accurately maintained and archived, and are compliant with GDPR
  • Ensure exit interviews are conducted for all staff either face-to-face or virtually
  • Administer the staff reward and benefits scheme
  • Ensure all payroll activities are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll information
  • Provide advice to line managers and employees on general HR related queries, escalating more complex issues to the HR Business Partner
  • Assist in formal meetings, such as employee disciplinary, grievance and welfare meetings
  • Support the Accounts department with raising POs, creating Vendor requests and processing invoices
  • Assist the Head of HR and Senior HR BP in delivering HR projects
  • Cover reception duties as and when required, including greeting visitors and adhering to Covid19 protocols
  • Organise incoming and outgoing post and parcels, arrange couriers where necessary, and sort and issue mail

Profile

  • Previous experience in a HR Admin or HR Assistant role
  • Experience of working in a busy, fast-paced HR department
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing/ Factory setting
  • HR-related qualification is desirable
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Knowledge of current UK employment law
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Kronos
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
