Your new role
The University are seeking to appoint a permanent Recruitment Manager to play a key role in overseeing and delivering a high quality, effective staff recruitment and HR administration service. You will develop strategies to attract high calibre talent, support recruitment and selection processes and provide an efficient onboarding experience to all new employees. The successful applicant will manage and lead the HR operations team, ensuring the provision of a flexible, customer-focused and responsive service to all recruiting managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle. Furthermore, you will support the development of service level agreements, assessing performance against these targets, and proactively review processes to create a cycle of continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be an effective HR professional with extensive experience of successfully attracting, selecting and appointing staff across all levels of an organisation, a highly organised approach to HR administration and a strong track record of positively engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. Significant knowledge and experience of best practice and effectiveness in recruitment and selection are essential, as are a highly organised approach, the ability to deliver to tight deadlines and strong team working skills.
