My client are a global PR firm based in Central London - due to a business-wide restructure they are now looking for an experienced HR BP. Reporting into the Senior HR BP, this role will be working with a range of client groups and senior stakeholders with different people needs. This HR professional must be business-focused, commercially astute and have experience working in a very fast-paced dynamic working environment.

Key duties/responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR business partnering to the client groups
  • Serve as a strategic partner and act as the interface between HR and business leaders, managers and hiring managers
  • Work across the HR structure to deliver an integrated HR offer to the business
  • Coach internal clients and stakeholders on effective team building, performance management and culture initiatives both reactively and proactively
  • Recommend and approve solutions for addressing poor performance or behaviour and for motivating, developing, and retaining talent
  • Understand and display good judgement regarding the overall business, applicable laws and policies, internal and external culture and values
  • Serve as an advocate and champion for diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Live values, leading by example and serve as an ambassador of the company brand
  • Consistently measure and analyse programme effectiveness, utilising analytics and redirecting, as needed

Key experience/skills:

  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity, craves autonomy with the ability to gain buy in and trust
  • Generalist HR experience in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Track record of building excellent relationships and credibility with business leaders based on solid commercial understanding and an ability to identify customer needs and go beyond just delivering defined HR solutions
  • Strong communication, engagement, and interpersonal skills - delivers impactful messages and influences outcomes
  • Ability to get work done and make a difference i.e., performing and delivering business-oriented HR solutions and approaches through influence, coordination, and individual effort
  • A relevant HR or business-related degree and post graduate qualification
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation and experience in labour relations
