Our client's Manufacturing and Supply Division is embarking on a global transformation project to implement Oracle Cloud SCM and ERP across five manufacturing sites. The Project requires a Training Specialist to lead the design, delivery, rollout and maintenance of training of systems and associated business processes to the global teams, working closely with the system consultants, as well as with internal SMEs and superuser network.

Our client is a specialist in their field of pharmaceuticals - they are an innovative organisation, developing manufacturing and marketing their product across the globe. They operate in 25 countries, and export even further afield as they continue to grow.

Description

The role responsibilties will include;

  • Conducting needs analysis to understand the number of business processes that will need to be trained throughout the programme
  • Leading the scoping and design of the training programme including developing and maintaining the global Training Management Plan for the Oracle Cloud applications being implemented
  • Leading the successful delivery of the training programme, including;
  • creating a harmonised process for training both for system roll-out and maintenance
  • building up training capabilities amongst internal trainers
  • planning and managing the preparation of the training materials
  • supporting the trainers to use appropriate methods to ensure effective training delivery
  • co-ordinating the nominated superusers, liaising with the Project and line manager teams
  • Liaising with the Training Lead from 3rd party implementation partners to help ensure successful planning and delivery of train-the-trainer courses
  • Develop a Training Project Plan, with agreed milestones, measures and updates with key stakeholders
  • Work with all key stakeholders, HR, digital learning and functional leads to ensure an aligned delivery programme
  • Analysing end-user feedback, promoting continuous improvement as the training programme is rolled-out

Profile

The successful candidate will have a strong L&D or training background, and will ideally have demonstrable experience of rolling out systems training to a broad audience of stakeholders

Ideally the candidate will have an excellent understanding and usage of HRIS, and a strong toolkit in delivering essential systems training.

Knowledge and experience in using Oracle would be a strong advantage

As a trainer to the broader business, the ideal candidate will have an engaging and enthusiastic style of delivering training programmes, and the ability to encourage strong adoption of the systems

Job Offer

The role is offering circa £45,000 plus benefits.

The role will be offered as a hybrid/predominantly remote role, but ability and willingness to be on site in Cheshire circa once a week is essential.

The Training Specialist will be responsible for delivery of training in the UK and globally, so ability to travel in line with the project roll-out is also a requirement of the role.
