We are recruiting for an interim Senior HR Advisor to join our client on a fixed term contract for initially 6 months near Battersea.

This role is 1-2 days home based the rest will be in the office

You will report to the Head of Human Resources and focus on adding value both short term and long term through working with the business to resolve people-related challenges and continually improving talent quality.

About you - Essential experience

  • Immediately Available
  • Experience in a similar HR/people generalist role, having worked across the full employee life-cycle, preferably within a matrix environment.
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge.

About the role

  • Primary contact for all employee relations issues, both from managers and employees, and providing guidance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conducting exit interviews and completing trend reports regularly to present to the Management Team to monitor trends and improve retention.
  • Support line managers with specific performance management requirements (including reviewing PIPs and facilitating probation reviews), while also coaching and guiding them with longer term plans for both high and low performers. Guide managers through Personal Development Review (PDR) periods, offering support/advice on best practice.
  • Support both line managers and Finance Directors with grievances and disciplinaries by providing advice, and undertaking lower risk investigations/ meetings.
  • Coaching and development of line managers and leaders  
  • Work closely with Head of HR on delivery of the People Strategy including ad-hoc project work.
  • Drive employee engagement 
  • Drive the delivery of both Diversity & Inclusion and Health & Well-being
