Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a global company seen as an industry disruptor in their search for a new Learning and Development Manager to join their L&D, Talent and Engagement team. This is a permanent opportunity.

The purpose of this role is to provide expertise in the development and delivery of embedding a sustainable learning culture aimed at developing key capabilities and behaviours and raising business performance, whilst supporting the Talent, Engagement & D&I agenda, working in partnership with Senior Managers and HR Business Partners.

Learning and Development sits within the Learning, Talent Development & Engagement Team, which forms part of our client's People Team. It acts as a centre of excellence, working closely with HRBPs, Recruitment, Reward, HR Process Improvement and Senior Leaders across all parts of the company. Reporting into the Head of Learning, Talent Development & Engagement, you will lead the L&D agenda to further develop and build the right skills and capabilities in our people to set our business up for success as part of our recovery plan.

Job Accountabilities summary:

  • Design and deliver a learning strategy for the M&A population that supports future business growth
  • Embed a 70:20:10 learning culture that promotes an employee driven approach to learning
  • Design and deliver digital learning to successfully embed a "just in time approach to learning" so all can learn what they want, when they want in a format that best suits them
  • Lead and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) platform upgrade working with IT and the system provider to define the business system requirements that will enable and deliver L&D initiatives company wide supporting a great user experience
  • Develop and embed organisational capabilities and the company behaviour framework to support consistent cultural change acting as a CoE on soft skills/behavioural and personal effectiveness/development
  • Support the HRBPs to develop technical competency frameworks for specific business areas that complement the company behavioral framework with support from the Talent & Engagement Manager
  • Work with the Head of Learning, Talent Development & Engagement to lead the performance management framework
  • Work with the Head of D&I to provide appropriate L&D interventions to support the delivery of the D&I strategy
  • Design and deliver virtual/face to face workshops as part of our blended delivery approach
  • Manage 3rd party vendor relationships
