HR Advisor, Based in Slough, Up to £38,000. Hybrid working on offer.
As the HR Advisor you will work as part of a small close nit team and will be accountable for providing day to day operational HR support service to managers and employees across the UK Business. You will largely be responsible for Employee Relations; advising line managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence, parental leave and coaching managers to make balanced decisions. As the HR Advisor, you will draft and implement HR policies and procedures where required, including updates to reflect changes in employment law, and develop a suite of manager guides and supporting documentation enabling managers to manage people processes more independently.
In addition, you will proactively manage casework, including making recommendations, giving advice and supporting line managers.
This is a busy role in a fast paced environment. You will be comfortable with working autonomously and without first seeking approval from your Supervisor/Manager regarding the decision to progress investigations to gross misconduct disciplinary, advising on dismissals and giving employee advice on workplace issues
