Macmillan Davies are partnering with a global energy company in their search to attract a Training and Apprenticeships Manager into the Business. You will be passionate about training and consistently reflect this in your strong influencing skills to ensure training is delivered and is seen to deliver value to the organisation.

The Organisation, who pride themselves in delivering clean, safe, reliable energy are looking for someone who is very hands on, is innovative and is an excellent advocate to learning and change, all within a busy environment. The role will be supporting their manufacturing site in Lancashire,

To ensure success the Training and Apprenticeships Manager will be required to implement and manage the safeguarding approach for apprentices, along with managing the existing relationship with external companies with-in the apprentice program, reviewing opportunities, developing, and implementing new relationships.

Core duties will include:

*Manage a team of trainers and admin professionals
*Providing support and guidance around OFSTED
*Maintain excellent working relationships with ESFA, OFSTED, NSAN and external employers
*Review and assess the organisation's training and employee development needs
*Implement and manage the safeguarding approach for apprentices
*Work with employees, stakeholders, and management to ensure training objectives are met
*Keeping up to date on the latest training trends and best practices
*General overview of apprentice recruitment and End Point Assessments (EPA)

About you

The role will suit a self-starter from a similar background within manufacturing/engineering or maintenance and hold a current OFSTED certification. You will bring new ideas, find smarter ways of working and has the drive to continue the success of the company's training programmes. In return, the client is offering a salary of £55,045, bonus, and pension
