The HRBP will support the business and be a trusted partner with key stakeholders, while working with the operational business to drive improvements in colleague engagement, manager capability, improve key people metrics and deliver HR projects which support the overall business objectives.

A leading outsourcing business based throughout the UK.


The HRBP will be based from home and partner with operations in the Midlands and Yorkshire regions. You will:

  • Deliver a consistent approach to HR support across the business
  • Understand the business to formulate plans to ensure the HR function effectively supports the operational objectives and drive improvements in engagement, inclusion, competency , absence and attrition
  • Work with internal stakeholders on key projects and workstreams to deliver positive change
  • Share best practice and learnings with internal stakeholders to enhance HR knowledge across the business
  • Lead and manage complex ER cases, early conciliation and tribunal process
  • Be accountable for ensuring HR process delivered and time scales are adhered to and complied with - performance management process, pay review process, annual leave carryover etc
  • Support new business bidding activity and lead any subsequent TUPE consultation or mobilisation process
  • Lead on key organisational change projects including any consultation process required to implement change
  • Identify and develop succession planning and talent within the business
  • Provide support to the business new initiatives and special projects
  • Ensure the operational teams are kept up to date on Corporate, Project and Client policies and procedures


To succeed in this HRBP role, you will ideally have experience in a similar position with exposure to a contract driven business. You will be/have:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Operated at a similar level in a multisite business
  • Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation
  • Proven experience of working within a constantly changing environment; driving new behaviours & cultural change
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and HR Systems
  • Ability to project manage
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to analyse, interpret & present data
  • Exposure to a contract environment, supporting bids , managing TUPE transfers and contract mobilisation
  • Flexible to travel in region as business requires
