Are you an experienced Apprenticeship Training Manager who wants to make a difference and grow and develop our future engineers? Our international engineering/manufacturing client is seeking an experienced individual to join their team, based out of their Lancashire site.

Managing a small team, you will lead the site Apprentice Training and Skills Development department where they have c60 apprentices at one time on a 4 year programme.

With a passion and success in developing apprentices, not only for this organisation but for external businesses too, you will be instrumental in providing continuous development for the apprentices and employees with specialist and award-winning training packages to progress professional and personal skills development.

To ensure success, you will be required to implement and manage the development and safeguarding approach for apprentices, along with managing the existing relationship with external companies with-in the apprentice programme; reviewing opportunities and developing, and implementing new relationships.

Working with and continuing the relationship with OFSTED is key so experience of this is essential. The successful candidate will have experience of working as an apprenticeship Training Manager either within a manufacturing/Engineering organisation, or working within a college/training centre with a specialism in engineering/manufacturing.

In return, my client is offering you the opportunity to really make a difference for the future and there is a salary of c£55,000 + bonus and excellent contribution pension scheme. Working out of their Preston site, you must be a car driver and hybrid working is available.
