Learning and Development Manager

We are in the inception stages of developing a new training Academy for our Group, one that will inspire learning, encourage collaboration and support excellence. We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead the Academy.
The role will have the opportunity to design and deliver an outstanding training academy with modules to support learning and development for over 300 employees across our Group companies – Chasetown Civil Engineering, Cameron Homes, Galliers Homes and Keon Homes. You will spearhead a programme to attract new early talent to the construction industry - individuals who have not considered the sector previously.
With an in-depth understanding of the skills gap, the role will design training content and programmes that engage and motivate new and current employees, attracting graduates and apprentices to start and develop their careers with Tara Group. Working with our Board, senior leadership teams and stakeholders the role will encourage a learning culture, facilitating career development and contributing to our succession planning.
The right person
We are seeking a highly experienced individual with significant experience in developing, managing and evaluating career changing learning across multiple target audiences.
Cognisant of differing learning abilities and learning platforms you will have a track record of successfully delivering projects to meet varying KPIs with a strong commercial acumen. An ability to communicate and influence at all levels is critical along with an innovative ambitious approach.
