Talent and Performance Manager

REF: ALC1254

£34,304 to £40,927 per annum

Do you have a passion for identifying talent and enabling staff to develop their potential?  Do you have experience of analysing demographics, predictions for skills shortages or surpluses, and labour market or workplace trends?

We’re looking for a Talent and Performance Manager to use workforce planning information to help identify critical talent, while supporting the retention of those capable of excelling.  You will work with colleagues in our Organisational Development Service to design and implement a Talent Management Framework for Professional Services and Operational Support staff.  You will also manage our Academic and Research & Analogous Progressions routes, including supporting and advising on our recently launched Academic Progressions Handbook.

You’ll look beyond organisational boundaries to work with diverse talent pools and will work as part of a team to create and implement an effective talent strategy, supporting end to end talent development activity, identifying and attracting the best talent and adding value to our employer brand.

You will have experience of working with Talent Management or Performance Management Frameworks and a strong understanding of how to build organisational capability through effective talent management, workforce planning and succession planning is essential.  You'll be a confident communicator with the ability to interact with senior stakeholder and customers and be able to build relationships with both internal and external customers.

This post is available immediately on a full-time, indefinite basis.
