A global active investment management firm are on the hunt for a HR Reporting Data Analyst to join their HR function. The firm has over two thousand employees across 15 international offices. The role is based in their central London offices where you'll work with the HRIS Systems Analyst and the Head of HR Strategy using Workday.
You will be responsible for everything HR data related in this role and tasked with providing extensive reporting and insights through your analytics. You'll be responsible for the delivery of regular MI reporting including monthly reporting packs at both firmwide and business unit level to drive data-driven decision making using 'best practice HR analytics'. With the use of Workday and Excel you'll also be encouraged to implement the use of more reporting tools in the role plus collate and analyse a range of HR related data such as engagement, diversity and benefit usage. When you start the position you'll be required to assess what's in place from a reporting and analytics perspective, put forward best practice recommendations and then implement them. There are various projects on the agenda such as building a tool suitable for assessing gender and ethnicity compensation disparities and enhancing Gender Pay Gap reporting. You'll be required to automate and improve processes where relevant and train and educate the business to ensure accurate and effective data to enhance your reporting and analytical capabilities. In the role you'll create and maintain dashboards, identify trends and focus points as well as deliver presentations on your findings. The successful candidate will develop innovative ways to explain data trends, create engaging interpretable visual data aids. You must ensure full data governance at all times.
You must have experience working in a HR reporting and analytics role previously, ideally using Workday (but not essential). You should have an eye for detail, have effective presentations skills and have the ability to collect, manipulate and create meaning out of large sets of data. It is essential you are a competent user of Excel and a bonus if you've used various reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI. You must have the ability to influence stakeholders, have good communication skills to build relationship and be able to project manage. You should be happy having to proactively own and steer the direction of the role to meet business objectives and KPIs. You must have a clear understanding of analytical techniques, people data sources and technological tools to be a success in this position.
You'll take the lead on all HR reporting and analytics matters but with the support of the HRIS Systems Analyst.
