A newly created role for a Snr HR Manager is now available within a City based Asset Manager. The role has just been created through organic growth and the high demand from the business for first class HR solutions. Reporting directly into the HRD you will be managing five other team members who are highly collegiate and have a wonderful chemistry/dynamic between them. You will compliment and add value to both the team and business.

The role itself is hybrid. 50% of the role is generalist and will cover the full employee lifecycle. The will include everything from talent acquisition, performance management, high level ER (lower level is dealt with by your team members), remuneration, reporting, committee representation, deputising for the HRD in her absence and will be a mix of both hands on operational HR as well as strategic involvement.

The other 50% will be process focused which you can break down into new processes - anything regulatory, SMCR, IR35 and any new regulatory matters that come to light. They you have old processes which is looking at the way in which HR do things and reinventing/rejuvenating and improving to make these work better.

On top of this you also have the team management elements - guiding, motivating, developing, empowering and ensuring the team are engaged and providing the business with a high quality, customer centric service.

We are looking for candidates with strong Financial Services experience and proven management skills. A mixed background of generalist, projects and some technical elements of HR will compliment this role perfectly.
