People Development Advisor

Your new role
You will take a leadership within the organisation around people development by supporting the commercial and operational activity by providing advice and guidance on training and development across the organisation including apprenticeships and graduate programmes; ensuring the continuous development of people in line with agreed competencies.
Key development areas include: Support the collation and development of the annual training budget Monitor the training budget and report monthly on actual spend against the budget throughout the year Develop the training budget record (from the high-level budget) with further details of the why, what, where, when and who Liaise with apprentices, external training providers and internal mentors to ensure they achieve their qualification and get a rounded view Support creative thinking around external funding opportunities, free training etc, help arrange the required training on behalf of the Portfolio Leads and their delegates Manage, deliver and improve core and tailored inductions and probation for all new starters
Support the development and (internal and external) promotion of career pathways for all portfolio's, liaising with all stakeholders including leads and STEM ambassadors
Monitor and review staff satisfaction from a learning and development viewpoint
Promote social grouping, relationships, work life balance, wellness and inclusion across the business
What you'll need to succeed

You will need proven experience of dealing with apprenticeship programmes and key training competencies as well as be comfortable to working autonomously.
