Description
The primary role of the Recruitment Business Partner will drive key operational recruitment, the attraction and recruitment across our 23 divisional and regional business units, for high impact across all levels of the business. You will be working closely with the HR business partners to engage the business, define the requirements and manage the end to end recruitment campaigns, fostering key relationships and drive the diversity and quality of the external talent pipeline.
This role requires the individual to have some high volume recruitment experience alongside business relationship and engagement skills. In addition, we are constantly striving to improve the way we attract and recruit early talent to drive our talent and diversity agenda to get the best talent in the market. This role will identify and drive improvements year on year.
Along side the delivery of the recruitment there will also be opportunities to have involvement in resourcing projects in line with the HR strategy and also works closely with the HR Operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Operational recruitment delivery nationally
- Supporting on key early careers and wider resourcing projects
- Working closely with senior business stakeholders, the HR Ops team and Talent to drive engagement with the talent attraction and recruitment agenda across the organisation
- Drive a best in class candidate experience and journey for all recruitment processes
- Identify and manage the appropriate external sources and relationships to proactively source top talent for the businesss (e.g job boards, Universities, charities, social media, LinkedIn and internal referral networks). Make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Report on key recruitment metrics including diversity of applications, time to hire, cost per hire and candidate experience and provide recommendations to improve the process
- Work closely with our applicant tracking system provider to continuously improve software for the recruitment team and business
- Provide up to date analytics relating to the progress of campaigns
- Support operational recruitment delivery for regional director and other senior hires nationally
- Actively headhunt candidates for management roles, working in collaboration with the Senior Recruitment business partner
- Working closely with senior business stakeholders, the HR Ops team and Talent to understand current and future talent gaps across the organization
- Help manage agency suppliers closely and monitor performance in line with PSL objectives
Report on key recruitment metrics including time to hire, cost per hire and candidate experience
Profile
Experience of recruiting into the building, housing or construction industry is essential.
Experience in early careers recruitment
Proven track record in delivering high volume recruitment campaigns
Experience of improving the attraction of diverse candidates
Exceptional stakeholder management
Previous experience working in a Centre of Excellence HR structure
Experience of managing small resourcing projects
Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking systems
