Company
We’ve come a long way since our business was founded in November 1970. How far? Well, let’s just say we’re one of the UK’s fastest growing food retailers and the nation’s favourite frozen food provider. In terms of frozen food turnover, we’re second only to Tesco and catching up fast! It’s all down to our back to basics business culture and high-quality products at prices that delight. Our no nonsense approach to fantastic customer service sees over 3.5 million customers visiting our stores every week. And believe us when we say, we make every single one of those customers our top priority. We’ve also got a history of innovation and being the first to the market. We were the first to introduce free home delivery and the first to champion non-GM ingredients in our Food You Can Trust range. But we’ll be the last to take success for granted. That’s why we’re always on the look out for people with ideas, initiative and proven talent. We’re a fast-paced business with a sleeves-up approach, so our people work hard at every level, gaining exposure, insight and continuous career development, whatever their role. But, if you’re as ambitious as we are, you’ll expect nothing less. Iceland employs 17,000 people across Retail, our Deeside Head Office and our Distribution Centres and we almost 700 stores across the UK. Join our team and enjoy all the training, development and career opportunities a business of our size and pace has to offer.
