HR Advisor, Charity Sector, Norwich/Hybrid, starting at £31,000 + excellent benefits

Your new company
Your new organisation facilitates crucial and life changing services across East Anglia. They are looking for a HR Advisor to join their team and provide support and HR advice to all stakeholders across their organisation, whilst promoting their values, vision, and working closely with colleagues to encouragement improvement and efficiency.

This role has access to hybrid working (50/50), study and development support, and will give you the opportunity to work within a leading charity. Your work will be purposeful, inspiring, and rewarding.

This role is perfect for those HR Officers looking for progression, or those HR Advisors seeking greater autonomy, purpose, and further exposure to transactional and transformational HR.

This role requires occasional travel across East Anglia, to support services as per business need. Mileage is paid.

Your new role
Within your new role, you will support across the generalist remit within a close knit and supportive team. You will be responsible for advising and supporting managers on all aspects of HR case works, including disciplinaries and grievances. You will be responsible for providing sound and effective HR advice to staff and managers that is compliant with employment law.

You will work closely across the organisation to provide guidance during formal hearings and be responsible for overseeing the attendance and performance management records - liaising with stakeholders to meet objectives and ongoing strategies.

You will also participate in the development of objectives and systems, including metrics, reports, and strategy delivery. Additionally, you will ensure legal compliance of all activities, including HR records, policy, and practices.

Importantly, you will also proactively identify points of improvement, including training requirements and the upskilling of managers.

You will also undertake other reasonable duties as required by line management.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified, working towards it, or qualified by experience. You will be ambitious, pro-active, organised, and capable of handling changing and demanding priorities. You will also be able to work independently and within a team.

You will be able to recommend improvements and have knowledge and experience of dealing with employee relations issues such as disciplinaries and grievances.

You will be able to demonstrate and consistently work to brand values, be creative in problem solving, and have a high attention to detail - ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will also be able to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders, both within, and outside of the organisation.

Fundamentally, you will have a great commitment to development, both personally and organisationally, always encouraging best practice, and continuous improvement.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of circa £31,000, this is on a scale-point system increased through performance objectives. You will receive an annual leave entitlement of 23 days + BH (increasing over time), study support, occupational sickness pay (following probation), access to a hybrid working structure, amongst other benefits.
