The HR Business Partner (Change) will be responsible for delivering a strategic, comprehensive and commercially-focused HR Service with a focus on change management across the organisation. The post holder will act as a strategic partner, working in collaboration with leadership on the development and embedding of business strategy and organisational change.

My client is a leading Public Sector organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Represent the HR function, playing a strategic and proactive stakeholder management role to ensure that the wider People and Culture strategy is aligned to the business needs and ambitions
  • Work in partnership with leadership and the Senior HRBPs, participating in the design and implementation of organisational change, capability and engagement plans alongside the business and people strategies
  • Partner with leadership and Senior HRBPs to develop and embed organisational development, restructuring and design interventions that align with the strategic goals for workforce planning, talent and ways of working, and proactively address current and future demands.
  • Develop and support robust change management frameworks and initiatives, in collaboration with leadership and Senior HRBPs
  • Ensure that all people change activity is identified and aligned to organisational strategies, transformation programmes and associated frameworks
  • Collaborate with specialist HR teams to ensure that HR programmes and initiatives are customer focused, delivered effectively and achieve the impact required
  • Anticipate and identify significant and complex strategic people risk, and mitigate this through the application of expert advice and insight
  • Utilise HR metrics, analysis and insights to ensure that business partner services are evidence based, and underpin the business strategy and ways of working
  • Champion, lead and support change management initiatives and organisational restructuring
  • Contribute to the production of consultation material

Profile

  • CIPD qualified - ideally Level 7 or currently undergoing
  • Highly experienced HR generalist/ Business partner
  • Experienced in effective business partnering and managing organisational change
  • Demonstrable business acumen, leadership and stakeholder skills
  • Strong generalist, operational and strategic HR experience, in a constantly changing fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • The ability to operate at senior strategic level
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder management capability
  • Experience of change and delivery of people initiatives
  • Experience in delivering, implementing, and embedding people change initiatives
  • Ability to challenge and influence leadership teams

Job Offer

  • Interim role - contracted until March 2023
  • £350 - £450 day rate
  • Hybrid working model
