Employee Relations Manager

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Employee Relations Manager to join a reputable and well known organisation in the Gatwick area. This organisation is market leading in their industry and believe in creating an excellent customer experience.

Employee Relations Manager, Based Crawley/Gatwick, £60,000-£65,000 + Car allowance and generous Bonus.

This is a key position with the HR leadership team, where you will emphasise the importance of making sure the relationship between the business and their people is managed through transparent practices and relevant law. As the Employee Relations Manager you will lead a positive employee relations culture and high levels of employee engagement with the potential to bring better business outcomes as well as better health and wellbeing of employees.

You will work in partnership with Trade Union and Non Trade Union colleagues to ensure they jointly work within collective Relations agreement, provide expertise to the HR team and business on complex cases and work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and build strong communications in order to reach all employees so they understand the goals of the business and how they contribute to them.

In addition, you will create a wellbeing and positive attendance culture and create a forum to inform and consult on the successful delivery of the organisations strategy and corporate objective.

This is an exciting opportunity to make the role your own and shape the way it will look in the future. The successful candidate will have vast employee relations experience with Unions and have worked in a fast paced commercial environment. If you have in-depth experience working within and operational type environment, have strong analytical, numerical and reporting skills and have excellent relationship management, this will be of great interest to my client. You will need to be resilient and empathetic and have the ability to challenge existing practices.
