On going Temp - Temp to Perm - Liverpool - Full Time - HRIS Administrator / Advisor - Immediate start

Your new company

My client, a global leader in the energy industry and based in Liverpool is seeking a HR Information System administrator / Advisor to join their team on an on going temporary basis. There is a strong possibility that this role will go permanent.

Your new role

The main purpose of the position is to maintain human resource management systems, software, and databases.
The HRIS team is responsible for driving value to the company through the implementation, continuous development, and adoption of their HR technology. The HRIS Administrator / Advisor is responsible for supporting the day to day running of people-based technology including system maintenance, identifying and resolving issues and supporting new projects.
The role is being offered as full time Monday - Friday with working hours of 08.30am - 16.45pm
You will be required to work on site x 4 days per week with one day from home.
Some of your duties will include but not limited to

Acting as HR technology SME for one or more HR systems, ensuring that business needs and opportunities are clearly understood and that the organisation fully utilise and exploit the technology wherever possible to simplify, automate and deliver value add HR services and processes.
Provide guidance and training to the HR team on the best use of HR Systems
Provide regular and ad hoc Management Information reporting.
Identify and ensure resolution of HR system issues, testing solutions and leading communication to customers.
Work with the business to analyse root causes for problems and recommend and develop solutions.
Working in partnership with HR teams and IT colleagues, take a lead in shaping enhancement requirements and implementing solutions
Utilise structured project and change management methodologies in the delivery and adoption of HR technology and process change, coaching others as appropriate in best practices
Proactively maintain your internal and external knowledge of HR technology advances and developments to support the continued journey through self-driven learning and drawing on the knowledge available.
Establish security configuration and support the management of user security profiles.
Assist the People Services team in mass data upload and delivery of system changes.
Work collaboratively with the wider HR function and actively participate and contribute to the HR transformation journey
Maintain high standards of confidentiality, compliance, ensuring the maintenance of accurate employee and HR records, in line with Data Protection legislation, company directives and policies

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will have experience in using the system Oracle
Have experience and knowledge of how technology can effectively support the delivery of the recruit to retire lifecycle
Experience in delivering improvements to HR processes
Understand Change Control and release management procedures
Ensure problem solving and have strong analytical skills
Work towards tight deadlines with high volumes and conflicting demands
Have an eye for detail, a logical approach, and the drive to complete a task/project to a high-quality standard
