Oakleaf Partnership Midlands are partnering with a well-known retail brand to find their next HR Business Partner. This role will be supporting the employees across UK and Ireland and will be responsible for supporting the head office / corporate functions of the organisation.
You will be a HR Generalist with experience across ER, Talent Development, Organisational Development and strategic projects. If you have worked across retail, hospitality or leisure this could be a good position for you however we are open on industry background. The ideal candidate would need to work in fast paced environments and be used to working in a business with quick changes.
Duties:
- Employee Relations: be able to lead and manage employee relations cases, ensuring managers are offered practical advice and guidance in line with current legislation. To also advise and support managers on performance management issues within their teams
- Organisational Design: Supporting the business in building new capabilities and adapting team structures as the business rapidly evolves and managing changes in the most effective way possible
- Driving talent development through.
- Supporting the business in talent acquisition and onboarding, promoting diversity, equity & inclusion and creating a pipeline of future talent
- Regular and proactive succession planning in conjunction with the business leaders for your client groups including the identification of individuals for career development programs and supporting their ongoing development
- Dynamic career conversations, in alignment with managers, to reinforce retention and optimise skillsets across teams
- Supporting line managers in their decision making for promotions/offers and in delivering key messages to their teams
