HR Assistant, Tourism Sector, Norfolk, Permanent, c£10-12 per hour, benefits including Study Support

Your new company
Your new organisation is set within the tourism and leisure sector and is going through a period of great investment and expansion. They have a fantastic opportunity for a pro-active, ambitious, and driven professional to join their HR Team and be involved in exciting upcoming projects, including site developments and in-house initiatives.

Based primarily in the East of Norwich with occasional travel between their supporting sites, this is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation with an exciting future. This role is 100% on site.

This role is ideal for those looking to get into HR and undertake a CIPD qualification.

Your new role
Working within a close-knit team and supporting a headcount of approx. 150 (growing to c.300 seasonally), you will assist the HR Manager and HRBP in providing a comprehensive HR Admin service. This includes acting as the first point of contact for queries, coordinating the HR recruitment systems, and ensuring accurate HR records, and reports.

Duties may include, but are not limited to maintaining paperwork and all employee records efficiently and effectively, filing & other administrative duties, helping to manage the HR inbox, producing necessary onboarding documents, managing DBS administration, setting up meetings and welcoming visitors, processing leavers records, assisting the HR Team with ad-hoc duties and projects, responding to reference requests, completing file audits, amongst other duties such as the below:

  • Assisting with the recruitment process
  • Working with payroll to ensure smooth processing
  • Collating the correct information relating to sickness absence
  • Supporting ER issues
  • HR database and Statistic auditing
  • Learning and development admin
  • Supporting engagement activities

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will educated to at least GCSE standard, have good IT skills, have excellent relationship building skills, and have a high level of attention to detail. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, and have exceptional time management and organisation.

You will be committed to learning, be driven and self motivated, and operate in a friendly and professional manner.

You will maintain confidentiality and abide by company policies and procedures at all times. You will promote the organisations vision, and undertake other tasks as required.
