We have a current opportunity for a ER Advisor on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Cardiff. For further information about this position please apply.

  • To provide employee relations support to the business providing effective case management
  • Provide individual support for senior leaders, coaching them through complex cases.
  • Manage ER cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance and absence management
  • Management of high volume and complex cases
  • Manage employee relations effectively; applying judgement in management of case
  • Draft and maintain oversight and management of all Aldermore ER policies, standards and processes on the HR systems, ensuring all ER policies and processes reflect both the legal requirements upon the bank but also the needs of the business and ensure they are updated regularly in line with internal and external requirements.
  • Conduct exit interviews and report on findings
  • Support restructures across the business
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and partner with HR Business Partners to provide solutions to issues
  • Provide training to help managers confidently and effectively manage ER issues
  • Ensure all ER matters are handled fairly, consistently and in accordance with UK legislation and best practice
  • Effective ER risk management
  • Provide MI and insights into ER activity
  • Support bank wide people initiatives to ensure consistency and alignment with the Group People Strategy

About you:

  • Strong ER experience with the ability to coach, challenge and influence business leaders to achieve the right outcome and provide necessary support and guidance to enable our people to operate with confidence.
