Description

The HR Manager role will require flexibility, adaptability and the desire to be hands on in achieving results. A clear communicator who operates in a team manner is key in this role.

The foundation blocks are in place, but this is your opportunity to refine it and put your stamp on it. The following is an example of some of the things you may be responsible for.

  • Working with the Managing Director on embedding the strategy of both the business & Group with the team.
  • Design strategic HR advice as well as the implementation of sustainable and forward-thinking HR solutions
  • Support a high Performance Culture through Managing the annual appraisal system cycle and development plans in partnership with Managers.
  • Act as the Engagement Leader to harvest full potential of employees for best results; through Engagement measures
  • As a talent Manager attract, identify, develop and sustain Talent for the business and beyond.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives including working closely with our Charity of Choice on activities throughout the year.
  • Championing events and activities that foster engagement and teamwork.
  • Understanding the priorities, challenges and key drivers for the Company to influence key decisions and translate them into a Learning Curriculum.

Profile

  • The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail with a strategic and commercial approach
  • The ideal candidate will have had experience in a SME. You should have relevant, practical experience with a strong foundation and knowledge of HR principles and practices.
  • You will have a confident approach to all situations and people and have the business experience to understand how to translate business issues into people solutions.
  • A well-rounded generalist who has had lots of exposure to a variety of people processes and is able to gain constructive buy-in from all stakeholders.
