Oakleaf Partnership are proud to be working alongside an international market leader in health insurance and healthcare services on their search for a Learning & Development Consultant to join their head office team based in South West London. The role is predominantly based on site although there will be opportunity for hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

Partner with the business to understand the mandatory learning requirements, working with Clinical teams to agree the prioritisation and how the learning will be implemented with resource/budget available

Together with the Learning Business Partner / People Director agree scope of projects to be undertaken which are aligned with people strategy, plans and policies.

Oversee the required mandatory training programmes ensuring they remain aligned to appropriate compliance, collaborating effectively with the Clinical Education team. This includes both permanent and bank employees.

Collaborate with colleagues across UK people services team to ensure the provision of a seamless Learning Management System to our people including the production of appropriate MI provision that meets the evolving needs of the organisational structure

Manage the relationship with external training professionals brought in to develop and deliver training solutions, especially in relation to mandatory training, ensuring they consistently meet the business's expected standard

Foster strong working relationships and offer support to managers across Health Services in relation to their training requirements.

Provide CPD support for people managers, promote education as an engagement tool and track funding requirements / budget.

Management and oversight of external training requests, challenging colleagues as to the appropriateness and urgency of training solutions and enabling the business to prioritise effectively.

Demonstrate a commercial awareness in all activities undertaken

Contribute to managing the training budget by ensuring cost effectiveness of learning and development solutions and being conscious of containing the cost base

Can build effective relationships at all levels of the business, respecting different cultures and needs
