Job Details
Oakleaf Partnership are delighted to be partnering with a leading global Financial Services business who are looking to hire within the Payroll team.
This will be a varied role and offer the successful candidate a real opportunity to develop their HR Payroll knowledge by being an integral support to the HR function.
The role will involve preparing and posting journals and completing balance sheet recs and recharges monthly. You will also be required to support on budgeting and forecasting as well as performing variance analysis for HR costs across the business and feed this back to senior Stakeholders within the business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Payroll Journals
- Complete balance sheet recs on Salaries, Flex Bens, PAYE
- Deal with recharges to relevant UK Entities
- Review costs against budget to actual and forecasts and identify any discrepancies
- Support in budget review meetings
- Prepare HR forecasts against yearly budget based on actual costs
- Manage Payroll invoicing manage the General ledger
- Manage recharges across all benefits
- Assist with the apprentice levy tax allocations
- Assist with the internal and external Payroll Audit
Skills/Experience
- PQ or Fully Qual Accountant
- In depth knowledge of Payroll Accounting
- SAP experience - or knowledge of ERP's
- Advanced Excel - Vlookup/Pivot tables
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
