HR Shared Service Manager - Nottingham

*Hybrid working *

Oakleaf Partnership Midlands are partnering with a well-known Further Education College to find their next HR Shared Service Manager. This role will be supporting the wider HR team and to lead on larger organisation wide projects and delivery of the people strategy. Experience of working in a Shared Service environment would be advantageous, Education experience is not neccassary. This is a Full Time Permanent position.

Job Purpose:

  • Lead, develop and deliver an outstanding shared service operation delivering on all aspects of HR admin, Recruitment, and employee lifecycle work
  • To lead on all matters related to HR systems ensure we have 100% accuracy within our systems completing regular audits and reviewing the quality of our data what with internal and external providers and teams across the business to ensure the systems are working efficiently and accurately and fixes are implemented within agreed timeframes
  • To drive team performance in delivering exceptional customer service to all customers and stakeholders, always striving to be the best and setting the benchmark for others to follow
  • Produce and report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, monitoring the team to ensure they are meeting agreed SLAs and removes any blockers and barriers in them achieving the objective

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage lead and develop a team of people services assistants ensuring high levels of customer care and accuracy are maintained at all times
  • Develop an ambitious programme of continuous improvement for service delivery acting on stakeholder feedback and produce a set of operating procedures to ensure the quality of service is maintained at all times
  • To ensure that recruitment and employee administration processes are efficient accurate and delivered within time scales as set out in the people services SLAs this will include a range of people services activities including issuing contracts employment recruitment DBS checks, references, probation tracking and tracking of maternity paternity adoption and shared parental leave
  • To oversee the team production and administration of timely and relevant information to payroll including sickness leavers new starters maternities and changes of salary ensuring staff are paid accurately every month
  • To ensure the people services inbox is managed effectively and all queries are responded to within the time scales set in the SLA
  • To ensure the all admin related to L&D is managed, including booking of courses, managing mandatory training etc.

The successful HR Shared Service Manager will be able to travel as an when required. Our client is looking for an individual who has Shared Service experience and an individual who can lead teams, bring change and strength in the projects arena. This role comes with a generous benefits package and a starting salary of between £39 - £45k per annum
