Learning and Development Admin Job - ASAP Start
Oakleaf is working with an exciting nationwide business who are looking for a strong Learning and Development coordinator to join their team. The role would be liaising with the L&D team making sure that operationally they are running necessary training smoothly. This is a great opportunity for you if you have a real passion for Learning and development and want to join a business where you can grow.
The role is on an initial 6-month temp basis with the view to go on longer. The role is paying circa of £20,000-£26,000 depending on experience.
Learning and Development Admin Job Your new role will include:
- Manage the team mailbox, answering queries or referring to L&D specialist where necessary
- Build relationships with department administrators and equip them to arrange training
- Support managers in sourcing specialist training courses and suppliers
- Work with L&D Partner to ensure training course provision meets business need
- Liaise with training suppliers to arrange closed courses
- Source and book internal venues for training delivery
- Maintain a training calendar in MS Outlook
- Add learners (new employees) to the LMS
- Deal with user enquiries such as access issues, profile updates, assisting with user errors
- Create courses, events and joining instructions within the LMS
- Get managers up-to-speed with how to book, move, and remove learners on LMS courses, assisting them with problems
- Input attendance onto the LMS following course completion
- Mark attendance on paper-based systems where these still exist
- Maintain training records and certificates
- Add e-learning modules to the LMS from time to time
- Ensure supplier responsibilities are carried out on a timely basis
- Work with L&D Partner and suppliers to forward plan key courses on a cyclical basis
- Review spend / anticipated spend with L&D Partner on a quarterly basis
- Log the drawdown of overdue training against an agreed list
Learning and Development Admin Job What you need to succeed:
- Strong administration skills
- Requires good organisational and communication skills
- Previous experience as an administrator in a busy office
