Candidate Profile

The role requires someone to manage end to end recruitment for all internal customers Globally. They will actively be influencing and motivating a variety of people in changing situations. Outgoing and open whilst remaining goal focussed and driven to achieve, the candidate will utilise all technologies open to them to create the best. They should remain confident when dealing with negative situations, convince others to have ideas and create new options, as well as encouraging and enthusing them to come up with imaginative solutions to difficult problems.

Main Duties

Talent Acquisition

  • Qualify candidates to accurately assess suitability for the role and cultural fit for the team and wider business and core values
  • Possess knowledge of the latest recruiting strategies (including social media, AI) utilizing a high level of creativity and latitude, with the view to implement
  • Demonstrate knowledge of opening candidate channels
  • Attending and /or create networking events/opportunities to meet brand and cultural needs e.g. job fairs, university associations and other recruitment venues so that potential candidates have an opportunity to learn about the organization and its recruitment activities;
  • Use direct sourcing methods to attract candidates, and offer suggestions for future sourcing methods

Recruitment - Process

  • Process recruitment administration - prepare internal and external job advertisements, web postings, specifications for external recruitment agencies, and other materials in accordance with the business needs
  • Analyse and evaluate new and existing job descriptions and ensure description is aligned with Behavioural Profiles
  • Contact candidates and arrange interview times
  • Ensure PPA's are managed within the recruitment process in line with Thomas International Standards
  • Handover details of successful candidate to People Manager for onboarding; Recruitment - Hiring Manager Support
  • Clearly qualify hiring manager needs, setting expectations fairly and creating relevant documentation such as advertisements as required
  • Provide tailored advice, guidance and support to recruiting managers in relation to their specific needs;
  • Coach hiring managers with effective recruiting practices to ensure polices and legal requirements are compliant
  • Develop appropriate interview questions in collaboration with the hiring manager so that interviews are conducted efficiently and equitably
  • Present shortlists to hiring managers in a consultative manner adding real value to the recruitment process;

Recruitment - Communications

  • Respond to enquiries from candidates, managers and external recruitment agencies about the organization's recruitment activities and about the status of job vacancies so that interested parties are kept informed without compromising the organization's standards of privacy and confidentiality
  • Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on the job's pre-established selection criteria and the organization's recruitment policies

Recruitment - Account Management

  • Manage the existing preferred supplier list;
  • Maintain and build relationships with existing agencies;
  • Select recruitment sources and techniques to effectively fulfil the client and the organization's staffing needs;
  • Research and identify innovative and cost-effective advertising vehicles

Employee and Candidate Engagement

  • Support with employer branding activities on the internet and via social media
  • Exceptional Knowledge of Employee Benefits
  • Ensure 'The Fold' is maintained with daily/weekly/monthly updates
  • Key Stakeholder in Brompton Apprenticeship Program
  • Supports Cultural Programs e.g. BWC, Monthly evening rides and Annual Rides
  • Support Management of Employer of Choice Accreditation including Investors In People

People Management

  • Responsible for the management of People Advisor (for given scope)
  • Responsible for team's annual review
  • Responsible for the management of budget (for given scope)
  • Can demonstrate and supporting managers with 1-1's, annual appraisals, performance management and capability management.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Recruitment reporting & trend analysis.
  • Board Reporting

Requirements

  • Previous experience at senior level of working as an in-house recruitment position
  • CIPD level 7 or working towards qualification/REC-IRP
  • Recruitment Experience
  • Experience of working in unionised environment
  • Experience of Thomas International or another Psychometric provider
  • Experience of ADP HRIS
