6 month temp role, HR Assistant! Hybrid role (2 days in office)

Your new company
This is a really exciting role for an HR Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for their next assignment! You will be reporting into the HR Advisor and will have the independence to take the role by the reigns. You will be supported if needs be by a wider HR team.

Your new role

  • Provide a high level of customer service, advice and support to employees across the organisation and to external customers and stakeholders.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees, managers and stakeholders and route appropriate queries to the HR Manager.
  • Provide administrative and other support to the HR Manager ensuring timely and accurate management of all HR activities including Recruitment and Resourcing, Training and Induction, Employee Relations and Organisational Change/TUPE.
  • Provide administrative support for the recruitment, appointment and leaver processes.
  • Produce letters and documentation and maintain accurate employee data electronically.
  • Administer the HR/Pay system, including updates, in order to create prompt and accurate salary payments and pensions and to ensure correct administration of all HR/Pay data amendments.
  • Provide professional advice and support to Managers, Supervisors and employees on relevant areas of service delivery, ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures.
  • Produce and review HR reports highlighting areas such as sickness absence, DBS renewals, fixed term contracts.
  • Demonstrate high standards of personal conduct at work and carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with all policies and procedures. In particular, employees are expected to manage risk and to fully comply with regulation and legislation.
  • Raise performance in Human Resources by contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.


What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working in a generalist Human Resources support role. Experience of delivery of excellent customer service in a multi-stakeholder environment. Experience of preparing, collating and interpreting data. Knowledge of iTrent would be ideal! You will also need good communication skills - both written and oral, ability to work on own initiative/take responsibility, ability to plan and prioritise your workload ensuring that agreed timescales are met and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
